T-OpenAI Goes Live Today
T-OpenAI represents a tokenized loan participation right, offering economic exposure tied to the valuation of OpenAI private shares. It is important to note that T-OpenAI is not equity; it does not grant the holder shareholder status, ownership, voting rights, or dividends. The overarching goal is straightforward: to move the access point to this type of investment earlier. This financial instrument is structured through a Cayman Islands SPC and issued by a dedicated subsidiary of Tessera Works Foundation. It operates entirely on the Solana blockchain, ensuring liquidity, transferability, and composability from day one. The unique structure of T-OpenAI enables private-market exposure, which has traditionally been limited to institutional investors, to be brought on-chain. This approach provides clarity regarding the nature of the asset and its limitations.

A few hours from now, the pre-sale for T-OpenAI goes live. It is the third product Tessera has launched, and the timing could not be clearer.
Twelve days ago, SpaceX went public in the largest IPO in history. It priced at $135, closed its first day up 19.2% at $160.95, then ran to an intraday high of about $225 before pulling back. As of today, it continues trading roughly 18% above the IPO price, with a market capitalization near $2.1 trillion. (Source: Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance, as of 24 June 2026, 12pm EST)
The lesson was visible in real time. The strongest part of that early move went to the people who already held the stock before listing. By the time the public got access, the repricing was already underway. That is the access gap in its clearest form.
OpenAI is setting up the same pattern. On June 8, the company reportedly filed confidentially for an IPO targeting as much as a $1 trillion valuation, against a March 2026 private round that valued it at around $852 billion. Before a single public share has traded, the difference between the latest private mark and the rumored IPO target is already measured in the hundreds of billions.
For most people, there is still no direct path into that phase. OpenAI shares trade in a closed private market open mostly to insiders, large funds, and accredited investors with the right relationships. T-OpenAI is the access point for non-U.S. participants.
What T-OpenAI Is
T-OpenAI is a tokenized loan participation right.
It provides economic exposure linked to the valuation of OpenAI private shares. It is not equity, does not make the holder a shareholder, and does not confer ownership, voting rights, or dividends.
It is structured through a Cayman Islands SPC, issued by a dedicated subsidiary of Tessera Works Foundation, and settles and trades entirely on Solana. It is liquid, transferable, and composable from day one.
That structure is what allows private-market exposure that has historically lived behind institutional walls to be brought on-chain in a form that is clear about what it is and what it is not.
The goal is simple: move the access point earlier.
What Tessera Has Already Shown
This is not the first live test of that structure.
T-SpaceX launched in February, months before SpaceX itself listed, and gave non-U.S. participants on-chain exposure linked to SpaceX’s private valuation ahead of the IPO.
T-Kalshi followed in May. Its pre-sale and Alpha Vault both sold out within five minutes, and the product reached 247 holders within 48 hours. As of June 8, the protocol had done about $241.4 million in cumulative trading volume across roughly 1,478 active traders.
That matters because T-OpenAI is not launching into theory. It is launching into a structure that has already been used in live markets with real demand.
How the Sale Works
The pre-sale opens in tiers.
Tier 1 is for the most active members of the Tessera community. To apply, a wallet must hold both T-SpaceX and T-Kalshi, be linked to a verified X account, and have reached $5,000 in aggregate lifetime trading volume on the protocol.
Meeting those requirements allows a wallet to apply. It does not automatically guarantee an allocation. Approvals are curated. Tier 2 then uses Pro-Rata pools to give more people a fair shot when demand is high.
After that, remaining tokens move into the next stages of the sale. The best place to check eligibility and follow the launch is here: app.tessera.pe/auction/T-OpenAI
The Opportunity Is Open
SpaceX showed what the access gap looks like when it resolves in public. OpenAI is close enough now that the same question matters again: whether access starts before the listing, or only after the market has already repriced the company.
That is why T-OpenAI exists. It gives non-U.S. participants a way to take a position before the next public chapter begins, through a structure designed to be transparent about the claim it offers and the exposure it tracks.
The pre-sale opens today, best to be ready before the window opens, go and check your eligibility now.
